Hi, I'm Kamela!

  • I believe I was put here to help guide humans on their wellbeing journey via my holistic approach to health & wellness :)

Here's what called me to become a holistic practitioner...

My health journey has been… well exactly that a long long journey. I started dance at age 3 and competed up until college. I also dabbled in American soccer, volleyball, and martial arts as an adolescent. I'm no stranger to enjoying many different disciplines and endorse staying active through any physical activity you enjoy.

Now for the bumpy road- I battled an eating disorder and my mental health for five years. I gained unwanted weight just before prom while experiencing severe mood swings due to taking birth control. I had a week-long hospital stay during exam week in college from a prescribed drug the FDA pulled off the market for causing accidental deaths. (Dare I say this next part without sounding like I am anti meds or physicians - which I am not, I believe in modern and ancient care alike, but I digress here goes) I've been frustrated and left wanting answers from doctor's visits where my concerns were not given the time or thoroughly investigated but brushed aside with a script for a pill that more often than not only caused more harm.

It’s been a ride, to say the least. But it’s from this crazy battle with my mental health, body image, and western medicine that I dedicated myself to holistic health education. I founded my practice not only to help blend the best of eastern and western rituals and practices but to help you explore taking a completely integrated approach when it comes to overcoming and supporting your own wellness battles.

My coaching philosophy is centered around the notion that “everything is connected” meaning health goes far beyond what you put on your plate and how you move your body. We look, perform, feel our best and most vibrant when we address health in every area of our lives - mental health, relationships, career, finances, social life, along with physical activity, rest, and nourishment.
